What types of therapy do you offer?
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and Solutions Focus Brief Therapy (SFBT). To learn more, please visit the Types of Therapy Page.
How much do sessions cost?
Fees for sessions vary based on several factors including the service you’re utilizing and whether or not you plan to use health insurance benefits. You can find more information on the Services page
How do I schedule a session?
Please complete the Contact Form or send me email directly! I will reach out to you in 1-3 business days to discuss your needs and booking an appointment.
Where do sessions take place?
I’m 100% telehealth, so sessions happen wherever you’re most at ease: your office, your couch, your car-that’s-parked-in-a-quiet-spot. You choose the space; I’ll meet you there!
What is your policy for cancellations?
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Visits cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will incur a $75 cancellation fee.
Insurance companies typically have strict guidelines on the length of our sessions, and I often book several clients in a day. If you are more than 7 minutes late for a session, I may ask you to rebook. Please let me know as soon as you’re able if you’re running late.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I am in-network with Aetna, and am awaiting final approval from Blue Cross Blue Shield and Evernorth (formerly Cigna). Prior to your first session, I can help you verify for your benefits to ensure I am an in-network provider with your plan.
I am not in-network with United Health Care, Tricare/TriWest, Medicare, or Medicaid.
If you are interested in working together despite my being out-of-network, please check with your insurance provider about submitting for reimbursement from your out-of-network benefits.
What methods of payment do you accept?
All sessions can be paid using a Credit/Debit card, Flex Spend Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
*Clients are required to keep a valid Credit/Debit card on file.
Do you offer sliding scale/reduced rates, or payment plans?
At this time, I do not offer sliding scale, reduced rates, or payment plans.
Am I required to be “diagnosed” in order to seek care?
You are not required to be “diagnosed” with any condition in order to seek mental health care. Clients who are paying privately for care have the flexibility to work with a therapist for a wide variety of concerns and support needs.
Insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to accept and process your claim. This diagnosis becomes part of your health records. If you choose to use your health insurance benefit to cover the cost of therapy, we will discuss diagnosis together so that you are comfortable with the information being submitted.
